Gerdau Ameristeel, NJ was having long standing problem of maintenance in their carbon transfer lines. They were replacing 2” sch 80 carbon steel nozzles & inserts every 12 hour shifts. Ceresist evaluated the process and provided the same design with sintered silicon carbide nozzles and extended the life of the nozzles to 4 months.

Our long term solutions to the steel industry provide huge cost savings. We not only provide lining but a complete fabricated product which the customer can easily install without having to adapt to the new system.
